The problem with a woman's going barefoot being the
pinnacle of natural beauty and raw sex appeal is that there are
so few women who actually rise to this standard. Although
literally every woman could easily reach this level, almost none
ever do.
Despite the fact that it has been extremely common during various
periods in our nation's history, somewhere along the line, going
barefoot somehow stopped being "cool." Now, it's considered
unhealthy, freakish or weird.
Pretty funny considering that it is, in fact, quite healthy, very
normal and completely natural.
In any case, my belief is that more women would go barefoot if
more women did already. Since most women are slaves to
fashion, if the trend were to swing back toward going barefoot,
many women would go along.
So, how do we start the pendulum swinging back in the right
direction?

Star Power
Media personalities have an incredible power to influence
public thought and behavior. Fortunately, most of them
tend to try and guide things in the right direction.
In the case of going barefoot, however, there don't seem
to be a lot of famous people taking up the flag.
There are a few, though. And even without actively
supporting it, the behavior of certain celebrities at least
condones it, which is better than nothing.
And even a lack of disapproval, depending on the fame and
popularity of the celebrity, can launch a trend.
So, who do we have on our side?
Well, based completely on publicly available information,
the following celebrities have, either recently or in the
past, appeared in visual media or in actual view of the
general public in a state of barefootedness.

There seems to be a growing ambivalence toward women
appearing barefoot in public. I see this as being
a good sign.
While you can still see the occasional flamer
ridiculing female celebrities for their behavior, it's
clear that bare feet are actually coming back into vogue.
